| Founded in 1923 as a 9 hole course (with sand greens), and named the Park Rapids Golf Club, our course has progressed to being one of the premier golf courses in northern Minnesota. Headwaters was incorporated in 1968. 300 shares were issued at that time and another 9 holes were added. In 1996, 3 additional holes were added - holes 6, 7 & 8 - and in 2005, holes 14 & 17 were renovated. Plans are being made to renovate holes 15 & 16, with expectations to start the project in the fall of 2009. |
